iDraft.app is a cloud-based architectural drafting platform built on a modern React and Vite architecture. Because it operates entirely within your web browser, it requires no local installation, no downloads, and no third-party CAD plugins.
You can access your workspace from any operating system (Windows, macOS, Linux, or ChromeOS) without maintenance overhead.
1. System & Browser Requirements #
To ensure smooth canvas rendering, real-time drafting, and optimal handling of survey reference data, your system should meet the following minimum recommendations:
- Recommended Browsers: Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Brave, or Mozilla Firefox (Chromium-based browsers are recommended for peak WebGL performance).
- Hardware Acceleration: Ensure hardware acceleration is enabled in your browser settings to leverage GPU-accelerated canvas drafting.
- Display Resolution: Minimum 1920 x 1080 (Full HD) recommended for detailed architectural drawings and interface readability.
- Input Devices: A 3-button mouse with a scroll wheel is strongly recommended for standard CAD zoom, pan, and snap actions.
- Network: A stable broadband internet connection for real-time cloud saving and project synchronization.
